The storm always causes a bunch of damage.
My house has always been in a flood zone. It was just typical that every year I would get some damage, pay to fix it, and then be on my way. This year I decided that I wanted to sell my place. I was sick of always worrying about the storm. So I called a real estate agent and was working on a sale. A storm hit that damaged my roof, flooded my yard, and my entryway. The buyer then wanted me to fix all those things. I just couldn’t bear to do it again. I wasn’t going to make any extra money doing the repair. So I decided that I was just going to go with a cash offer instead. I was tired of talking to people on the phone, staging, remodeling, and cleaning.
