A flood zone is not a deal breaker

In Jacksonville, FL my pal and I have a hurricane season.

The storm always causes a bunch of harm.

My home has always been in a flood zone. It was just regular that every year I would get some harm, spend my money to service it, and then be on my way. This year I decided that I wanted to sell my place. I was sick of always worrying about the storm. So I called a real estate agent and was working on a sale. A storm hit that harmed my roof, flooded my yard, and my study room. The customer then wanted me to service all those things. I just couldn’t bear to do it again. I wasn’t going to make any extra money doing the repair. So I decided that I was just going to go with a cash offer instead. I was sleepy talking to people on the iphone, staging, remodeling, and cleaning. I didn’t even want to wash my study room of the mud and water. The cash home customer was great. They do as is. That means I could just pack my bags and walk out. At that point I was so sick of my home I was happy to pack and leave. I ended up with a nice chunk of change on hand. I now live out of a hurricane zone and I am much happier. I no longer waste a bunch of money updating my home over and over again. I don’t know why anyone would want to live in a storm area. My home is pretty and nice when there is no storm, but it is a once a year thing.
